Draining the fuel without removing tank?!
Hey folks!
So, I have old fuel in the tank and I want to remove it. If I can do it without removing the tank or the cross-line that'd be great!
I was wondering, if I were to get the male end of the fuel line coming off the factory quick disconnect and hook it to a hose long enough to go into a gas can, would the fuel just flow out?
Also, I have the quick disconnect fittings on the cross-line. I guess I could get a second fitting and use those to drain it also...
Thoughts?

Yes, I've seen a video on that and it's definitely an option.
I have the CPC Quick Disconnect fittings on my crossover line. I'm thinking just get another set and hook a long hose to the barbed side of each (the male and the female side) and run them into a gas can. Then just disconnect at the crossover and hook them up!
Should work great, no?

If you know how to siphon, no mouth is required in this situation, you slide the hose fully into the tank, let it fill, plug the end with your finger, pull it out of the tank and route it down to the container on the ground and take you finger off to let it flow, it will start flowing, gravity is a wonderful thing....but if you prefer, you are free to make it as complicated as possible.
