Specifically on my 06 but this applies to evos as well. You can see how close the front exhaust pipe is to the downtube

Boy, that's one worn out motor mount. How many miles on that mount? Mine only had 7,200 on it and the front pipe was doing the same thing. I cut mine in half and it was soaked with oil.

So do you ever plan on replacing worn parts or just whine about it?

A ten year old part might need replacing. Go figure.

I'm guessing he posted this for informative purposes, since this question seems to come up quite a bit. I suppose my guess is as good as yours, even if it is on the opposite end of the spectrum.

It has 30k on it and yes that was the objective becuase there are always threads on people questioning their mounts. And yes I am replacing it haha

Now I have to check mine. Cause my mount looks just like that. Got to look at the down tube. I never knew what to actually look for. And didn't want to just take it apart.

Being pretty new to Harleys myself I have to agree. Nice informative post!
