Default Rear signal relocation kit issue

I bought a cavalry customs plate bracket, which is pretty identical to the great bike gear bracket. Nicely made, however I don't see how the hell you mount the plate, once the bracket and signals are installed. You need to use nuts and bolts to hold the license plate, and once mounted to the fender, there's no way in hell in getting my fingers behind it to hold the nuts. I'm completely lost here... If only it used threaded holes instead of nuts and bolts, it would be perfect. Check it out:

No way I'm getting my fingers or a wrench under there to hold the nuts.

Has anyone used one of these? I must be a moron because I see no way to do it...

Calm down,, you can get in there,, others have you will too. Try a needle nose, those plastic nut's don't need a lot of torque.

Maybe a handful of valiums and a bottle of Anjeo will help calm me down.

Disregard the post. It's going back and I'll find a better bracket.

Before you mount it, thread the screws for the plate onto the nut, using a dab of silicone. When it sets, remove the screw and the nut will stay in place.

Thanks, I thought of that, only its a nylock and will likely spin out of any glue when it starts to grip. It's just a bad design. Simply threading the holes would be a much better solution I would think.

Probably a stupid question as I don't have that bracket, but is it possible to bolt the plate to the bracket before you install it on the bike?

the install is pretty easy-Im 61 and it went on easy, only thing is if your turnlamps attach to the bracket as mine does youll have to remove the molex connectors on the ends to snake the wires through

Yeah, that's why I told him he can do it,, I have the same thing mounted on my bike,,
I have the plate mounted using all 4 bolts and put the plate on after it was installed.
I guess some guy's ain't a wrench,, if it's not plug-n-play they're lost.
