Default 120 FXRT Build

Long time lurker, thought I would put up a project that the guys at Ray Price Harley in Raleigh, NC are doing for me.

I have had 3 stock FXRT's in my time, a 1983 with a shovel motor, a 1989 and a 1991. All 3 I love for various reasons, but I wanted to modernize the FXRT a bit. I love my older models, but the idea for this build was to imagine if Harley made an FXRT today, what would it be like.

The build began back in February and I will post pics to chart progress. The bike before...and mocked up with the 120R engine in it and RT fairing on and Dakota Digital gauges and Garmin nav mocked up.....

Man that is going to be sweet! I'm stashing money away to get that fairing. Hopefully in September I'll be adding one to the ol' Bob

I rode my 83 FXR to the dealership yesterday, the patrons were puzzled. Mystery bike.
The kid behind the counter selling me a filter, told me he'd like to have an FXRT.
The rarest of the rare I told him. Myself, I sure do like those bikes.
Looking forward to the progress and vision, good luck! Not everyday you get to see an FXRT.
