2014 Low Rider 1K Service
Finally got around to doing my 1000 (actually more like a 1200 mile service) mile service today and had a few questions. For the transmission, do I need to remove the ABS controller to get the plug out? Also, does anyone know what size allen wrench I'll need? I don't know if I have anything big enough to fit it. On my way to head back up to Harley now because I forgot the oil filter wrench and this one is stuck on there good!!

Also, if I were you I wouldn't go and buy a special HD oil filter wrench. Get one off Amazon for half the price. While you're there you can get this cool funnel that keeps you from getting oil all over your motor mount when taking the filter off.

The trans plug should come out fine without removing the ABS stuff, the threaded portion is only about 3/4" deep and thin after that. The Alan wrench is 3/8" for the trans plug. Just did my 5k mile and used this style wrench. Worked fine for me, just fit it between the front frame tubes and slid it on.
