Default New tsukayu fatbob Fairing

just received my new tsukayu fairing on Friday morning. It took three weeks to the day to get it. Installed it on Friday just before noon took less than two hrs. rode the bike Friday and Saturday did just over 400 miles. the radio plays well on the strong stations and would do better with and external antenna. but I had all ready made up a SD card with some good tunes and it can be heard well at 65 mph. the weather here was very windy and that fairing cuts right through it, especially on the interstate. and coming home at nite was a pleasure I was not all cover with bugs like usual. Removed it yesterday and headed over to my brother shop to start the process of a new paint job. got it all sanded down and ready to shoot color got the rear panel done and cleared. started on the front of the fairing will get back on it this morning. also to will be selling my national cycles deflector screen made for the fatbob if interested send me a pm.

Fantastic looking stuff right there. I think the paint scheme really makes it all work very well.

I looked for some time at different custom paint jobs . and this one was different and caught my eye. used my bikes color on top and my brother had some plain black and said that too plain and used some charcoal metallic looked good till it was cleared. and nothing on my bike matched the gun metal gray. I came home and really thought about it and went to the PPG paint store in the morning and found a black paint with some orange metallic in it. bought 4 oz's and went to my brothers shop you should have seen the look on his face when I hit the fairing with the DA sander and told him we were re shooting over the gray! I said want to keep it orange and black to match the rest of bike and he agreed after it was re done that the black was the way to go!

That's awesome. I like that you redid the grey. The black looks way better! Can't wait to see the bike all back together.
