$100 a piece would be decent. http://www.worldwidebearings.com
The rest are from China include all-*****. I think some ppl power wash their bikes. I have original bearings over 30,000miles still good.

I didn't take any closer pictures, but as far as I can tell they're identical other than the numbers stamped on the seal.

Very true, if people are power washing their bikes it wouldnt take much to blow past the seals of the bearings.

Okay fellas, I'm half way determined to get to the bottom of this I emailed All ***** Racing and Timken about the quality of their bearings. I asked about what material they are but they wouldn't tell me (I expected that). I'm assuming the difference between an All ***** Racing bearing and a Timken is probably the alloy it's machined from OR perhaps just paying for the name??? At this point it remains a mystery. However All ***** Racing did email me back and provide some helpful information. The plus side is that there is a spec that they have to meet or exceed. The Down side everything has a tolerance and doesn't always mean just because it meets the spec that it's the best or top quality. That just means it's rated to do what it's supposed to. For example comparing a DOT helmet to a SNELL helmet, or cheap *** chinese forging of 4130 chromoly to a superior American forged 4130 (generally speaking). It's a only a standard to be met. Now that being said here's what they provided me back in their email.

"Hello Jesse - here is a little information about our bearings.

Thanks for taking the time to inquire about our bearings. All of our wheel bearings are manufactured by KML. They are a small China manufacturer, but make hi-quality bearings. All ***** specifies the grade of bearing and the seal design for our bearings. We only accept ABEC 3 level precision, use Chevron SRI 2 grease and a triple lip seal design. All of our bearings are qualified to run at 5-7000 RPM's. To achieve this rating all bearings are tested after manufacturing. They are spun at high speed and 3 bands of noise are measured which determines the quality of the micro honing of the races, the roundness of the ***** and the quality of the ball retainers. The only bearings we use meet EMQ quality levels which far exceed the needs of a motorcycle and ATV requirements.

We've tested many OE and other aftermarket bearings and compared them to the KML bearing and I can assure you we can hang with the best of them.

Thank you
Helen

Now just to clarify the speed that these bearings are rated to run at is up to 7000 rpm. For example my size rear tire 160/70-17 which would convert to a surface speed of 537.4 MPH lol. I'm not too worried about the bearings anymore. Just sayin...

If/when Timken emails me back i'll post their reply as well.

...And Timkens reply.

"Jesse,

The material is specific to the size and cross section of the finished bearing, and the 205PP is made from 52100 carburized steel. I cannot give the hardness specifications for our product, but I can tell you all of the components are made to the same hardness specifications to equalize the capabilities across the components.

Yes our bearings are the best due to the quality that goes into the products.

Thanks for your inquiry,"

They're confident no doubt lol.

Yes, pretty simple and no fuss, no muss using the right tool - just make sure to look up the correct install order in your manual or wheel installation instructions. Many use a machined grooved to ID the primary size but some have other methods such as an offset valve stem or DOT marking. For anyone no familiar with the procedure...........

The bagger dudes who are pushing 800+ lbs use the same OD 52 the same ID of 25 but they use the 21 mm staggered double track WIDER bearing. I think its a 9276A series but that's guessing and off the type of my head as I write this, with a slightly different bearing of the same size dimensions used for bikes with ABS.
Baggers are using the same size bearings as all the other models, - 9276A or 9252 if ABS. The 9276A is 52x15x25 and the 9252 ABS bearing is 52x18x25

Excellent quality video! Clear, concise, well done.

Only thing missing was "how to" grease the bearings prior to installation.
