That depends on where it happens & how high the idle goes.
For instance, say you're on a gravel parking lot. Your Ol is on the back tapping you on the shoulder telling you she has to get home soon (woman issues) and the SOB takes off just as you feather the clutch and are turning. Things could get F'd up quickly.

And you're getting buzzed by an F-15.

Very dangerous indeed, say you had at a burrito for lunch and were a bit gassy, as you feather the clutch "like a boss" lean into the turn and ba-bam! Double trouble!

Us lawyers have a legal term for this post, and posts like it. Its called a "fishing expedition". Its where people looking for information that will help THEM in a frivolous lawsuit, attempt to seek out help and advice from others in an attempt to gain an advantage in a court of law.

If that is indeed the case, then any jury who reads this should order the sue-happy cheapskate to pay Harley-Davidson's legal fees, and revoke his license pending his passing a motorcycle riding course at his expense.

Most high idle is caused by human error not a problem. If you turn off the engine and it hasn't got to normal idle that makes the computer tnink that is the normal idle.
my ultra did it at 1800 rpm for 2 days on a trip. Third day it was normal again and never did it again.
