Default Can You Tour With a Dyna??

This post will hopefully answer the question of "Can you tour on a Dyna?" The picture of our luggage on the cart does NOT include our saddlebags. Those were left on the bikes.

How in the hell did you know that?!? LOL

Good eye, the one of the bikes was at Seaside. Down near the beach. Only rain we saw the whole trip. Second was at the hotel in Garabaldi (sp?). Garabaldi Inn more specifically.

A friend has ridden his wide glide to Sturgis from ohio, several times with no complaints. He bought a soft tail last year and rode it to Sturgis. He complained that he missed his old bike.

The wife and I did a 2000 mile trip a few weeks ago with the large saddle bags and Harley's extra large sissy bar bag. I could swear that bag weighed 80 lbs. carrying to from the room at night.

Hell yeah you can if you're in halfway decent shape and have a good seat.

Most of us toured without fairings (or even decent saddlebags sometimes,) on bikes that were not nearly as nice as Dynas and only got on 'dressers' after we were done "touring". Of course its enough bike to go touring....

You can tour on a bicycle, so you can certainly do it on a Dyna.

I wanted to say towards Tillamook/Astoria but knew it had to be somewhere between Newport and Astoria. Very common construction of the abodes on the left; and the green on the shingles on the right is a clincher You did good on missing rain there, that area is like Ireland when it comes to rain
