Default looking for rear view mirror upgrade - too much vibration

I have what I think are the original rear view mirrors on my 2005 Super Glide.

I'd like to get rid of the vibration somehow. It's just too hard to see anything other than general shapes with all the vibration.

Any replacement mirror suggestions? Or are there dampening kits available?

Just curious to see if anyone has solved this or has any info on the options out there.

Thanks

Mine shake a lot at idle but clear up as soon as I take off.
I'm curious to see the advice that comes to this thread.

The mirrors are hard mounted to the controls/bars, so no mirror change is going to do what you want. On my bike even when new the mirrors shook stopped at idle, riding they are good. It's just the nature of the bikes. As the motor mounts wear out, there will be a lot mot vibration transferred, so you might want to look there.

My mirrors (stock) always had some shake to them, especially at idle; but they were never so bad that i couldnt make out objects. Just replaced my front motor mount with the Predator mount and the mirrors shake a lot less now; when I am cruising they barely shake at all.

My '14 vibrated so bad the view was worthless. I could see "cars" behind me, but whether or not they were LEOs was a crapshoot.

Even when I held the mirror in my hand and squeezed, still worthless. Honestly, that's the way the motor is mounted in a Dyna, and there's really not much you can do about it. Mine vibrated that bad brand new, so it certainly isn't worn out motor mounts.

Here ya go: The solution for me was to go to a Touring model, but that might not be the best thing for you.

Try getting the front tire balanced.

Two front tires, both balanced. Nope.

I filled bar ends with lead, it killed all vibration except idle shake. Used some weights used for fishing I guess, 1 lbs or so per side.

My mirrors are as solid and clear as any bike or car I've ever had, no shaky shaking at all.
