Default FXDF True Track Close To Frame

Hey guys.
Im in the midst of installing my 20-30 true track on my 15 fxdf
Let me start by saying the instructions definitely suck haha
The from stabilizer nut is really close to the frame!
I set the link to the neutral position by turning one way till it was hard then the other way till it was hard and went right in the middle.
The jam nut on the frame bracket is about 1/8" from the frame...is that normal?

I cant say I'd recommend this product mainly due to the minor details like lacking instructions and hardware that needs to be grinded to fit into its recessed holes

Yep, that's normal. And if it is easy, then it aint worth doing it.

This is the way I will go now that I see issues with true track. I like the fact that it's much cleaner too.

Thanks for the info firecop9774

Auto,

If you decide to abandon the true track, the Predator mount was shipped from Vibro-Technics in the United Kingdom to Indiana in 3 days. Top notch quality item, and although I didn't need it, I understand their customer service is also top notch.

Attached is a photo after installation and before buttoning up. Hope this helps.

Or, if you have a die the right size, you could measure the number of protruding threads ( leaving 1 full thread exposed) and cut off the excess. Or just put another washer under the head of the bolt.
