I did the opposite of what you are doing. Went with older wheels on newer bike. The difference is: the newer 25mm bearings are more narrow than the older 1" bearings. I had to put in wider spacers. The overall diameter for the bearings where they fit in the hubs was the same. Hoped this helped.

HD bearings are as follows:

ALL of them have an OD of 52mm

Some of them have a width of either 15mm or 21 mm

There are 3 ID sizes 3/4, 1 inch and 25mm

The older bikes used the 3/4/ 21s' some 06s & 07s' I think used 1"ers and after that I think it was all 25mm and the thinner 15mm width bearing. (bad idea IMO)

I am doing what Robbie kind of did, with older wheels on a newer bike but I am going with wider 21mm, 25mm bearings and a shortened inner spacer.

Did you order 1" x 15mm (not oem, but available) or 1" x 21mm (oem on your 06)?

Edit: Also since you're using Lowrider wheels, i assume you're converting to dual disc?

Got the swap done. Was able to use all stock spacers and replaced the bearings. Front bearings stayed at 21mm wide and had to use 15mm width bearings in the rear. Need to purchase the right lower leg so I can run the dual front brakes. I have everything else already. Bike feels a lot tighter with the new wheels compared to the spokes.
