I may have missed the part where you told them you wanted a new off the line bike that you can order to your liking, I was thinking you were looking at a new 2015 which would probably be limited to what is in stock locally and your requests were not possible for them.

Since they know you are a motivated buyer, they should be motivated to sell and you should use that to your advantage. You might be able to get a better deal or some other added value. It's worth a try...

I agree with you on the Low Rider...I rode my son's 2004 Low Rider with forwards and it is more cramped than my 2001 Super Glide with forwards. The Low Rider is a sharp looking ride but I found it more uncomfortable riding than the SG.

you are right, it's the obvious choice if i weren't being difficult and picky about the styling.

no exaggerated rake and the fenders and seating on the LR. i was close to going with the LR. i know the cramped feeling could be fixed with seating. i can't (reasonably ) fix the frame rake at the neck. if i'm gonna blow 17- 20 grand i'd rather get what i want.

if i didn't want the rake and look of the WG, i'd just by a FXDX and save the world from my bs and about 12 grand. spend the savings hacking it up

just get a plain black wideglide............buy some fatbob lowers , decent set of springs lowered an inch, an extra caliper, replace the 9/16 master cylinder with an 11/16, get some nice magnum brake lines, top it all off with a custom 23 front wheel and matching rotors from one of our forum vendors(hogpro) who will put it together with the proper hub.
this setup looks good and will handle the stopping power a lot better than the 21

Radioactive green has no flames. I find the flames unappealing. I have not felt the need for dual disk on my wide glide. What do you want from the bike you desire?
