Install T bars on 16' Lowrider
In layman terms what is required to install t bars and a HD qrt fairing on a new FXDL?
Line extensions,headlamp relocation,soldering etc.?
I will most likely outsource the work, but I would like to get a rough idea what is involved.
Any help appreciated.

Depends on how tall. I have 8" on mine, I've heard 10" work without extending as well. For the fairing, you'll need a bucket ($60) and a mounting block (~$10) and some misc nuts and bolts. The bucket and the handlebar wires are plug and play. Unless of course you need to extend them...
Took me bout 2 hours to install the bars.

10" works just barely but works with all stock wires, lines and cables with correct massaging of the clutch cable routing and upper brake line.
Anything more you'll need Street Bob clutch cable and a custom brake line setup.
The wiring is plenty long.
The headlight there are more than one way to skin that cat but most just install a bottom mount headlight bucket and block mount.
Installing a HD Quarter Fairing you will need the Bung King 49mm bracket kit and 4 Harley 49mm quick release clamps.
If your bike isn't Vivid Black fairing will need to be painted to match.
Do a search it's all been covered here a hundred times already.

I did the 6" Wild One Chubby T-bars and had to put a 1" riser spacer on to prevent the turn signals from hitting the tank. I should have just went with the 8", but live and learn. You could go shorter but you would have to relocate the turn signals to the forks. I like the turn signals on the bar, so I went with the risers.
