My dealer was supposed to have one last week..... Earlier than I thought.... No deposits down on them yet and they are expecting a few of them... They were trying to get me off of my street Bob and onto the S..... Looking at parts yesterday and the guy kept saying " the new low rider S already has that"
Haha..... If I wasn't upside down on the Bob it would make sense.... That new bike hit (taxes, tags, prep and warranty) doesn't make a trade so soon doable.... I figure my next new purchase would be a touring model and keep the Bob for me...

I'm selling my 14 LR to my friend. If the dealer doesnt mark up the new LR-S too much I'll be getting it. If not 16 Wide Glide it is. Love the new LR-S though!

ok blah, blah, blah ......

It's great and all, but what we really want to know is:

What is the part number for that sweet 'lil fairing and will it fit on my 2016 LR without too much work

The new Lowrider S turned up at the Chicago IMS on Saturday morning. The people at the display said it was not there on Friday, so this may have been the public's first chance to touch the bike. I sat on it a few times and found the reach to the bars longer than on my 04, but not uncomfortably so. The "new" switches and the feel of them will take some getting used to. I talked to the sales manager from a Chicago dealership and he has spoken to people who have ridden it. They said the upgrade in suspension really makes a positive difference in handling. I plan to talk to my dealer this week.

I'd kinda like the see the other side of the bike. Every pic people post or take is always of the right side of the bike!!!!

Took a few pics of it myself. Really love that seat and that fairing mount really opens some customizable options for shift light mounting and other stuff:

I wonder how that seat is for tall people. I know the one on the regular lowrider had the removeable pad. Did anyone tall set on one?
