2 up seat for Street Bob
Hey guys, I'm looking for a good 2 up seat for my Street Bob. I really wanted a C&C fastback, but after putting my buddy's seat on my bike, I found out that it makes me sit too far back and low so I'm reaching uncomfortably for the bars. I like the fastback look, but I want something that won't change my stock position too much. La Pera, Mustang, Big Al's????? Basically looking to have the clean fastback look and also some comfort. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm a fan of the La Pera Cherokee. Kind of a classic king and queen look. Pretty comfy for rider and passenger. I found on my 72 (same bars as Street Bob) I had to roll them forward or backwards a bit depending on the seat I had on...made a huge difference to comfort and super easy to do. If it winds up being a bigger adjustment you might additionally need to rotate the hand controls on the bars. Again, super easy to do...just a few bolts to loosen and retighten. This might alos sove the issue you had with the fastback if you really like that style.

I'll vouch for the Big Al's seat.... I don't have one, but He's less than a mile away form my local dealer, so they did a couple bikes together. Last time I was in the showroom, and was still shopping around for a 2 up. I sat at on the Big Al's edition bike, and it felt great. Only reason why I didn't buy that one on the spot was because I have the oppiste problem you're having..... I needed a seat that pushes me back a little from stock.

I put a Mustang daytripper on my Fat Bob and didn't really like the position. It moves you back a little and put me a too far from the forward controls. I just bought a Danny Gray weekender and love it. The back seat is a little narrower than stock. If you a riding passengers a lot for any distance, you may want to look at the XL model. The back is a little wider, just takes a little hit on aesthetics. Just depends what's more important, looks or function.

Ed at Sick Saddles makes a great seat, I have his gel-solo and if I was going to get a two-up (and I keep telling myself to do it) I'd have Ed do it.
