Hello everyone. Trying to do a little wrenching with the new LED rear turn signals on my 2016 street bob. Is anyone have the problem of the new wires being very short and also that the stock connection is a 3 pin while the new wire harness is an 2 pin. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm lost and cant ride until this is fixed.

 

Both rear lights on your bob operate as both running lights as well as stop/turn lights. Thats why there are three wires. The running lights have there own wire and the stop/turn has its own lead.

It sounds like the new tail lights you have are set up for just turn since they only have 2 wires.

Kinda hard to really know what you have going on without seeing, but this is just my thought.

 

Send the new LED's back and get the right ones.
