Disregard. Just gotta make sure the nut is turned sideways to allow the base to fit all the way in.

Did you run into any problems? Did the dealer have to reprogram the BCM? Does anyone know of a curved license plate frame to go with the Kuryakyn Laydown Curved Mount? Or does it come with a frame? Thank-you!
I think my LRS has the same lights, and I just did this change. I did not have to have the re-program BUT that means you have STOP on your turns as well as the new tail light. I put the HD LED and Arlen Ness Red dual "element" LED turns, I just pinned them out, and they work fine.

I am ditching the Ness turns. It is too bad, they are a nice, well made light

Got this all buttoned up. I did have to get the BCM flashed for the all in one tail light. Really happy with how everything turned out.

Before, with great bike gear relo kit.

And after.

I just did this same fender/taillight swap. I'm also in need of having my BCM flashed. The light is not quite functioning properly. Any idea what they did to do? Did you take it to the dealership? Thanks

Yeah, you need to take it to the dealer if you want it to function properly. I actually don't mind how it works without the update. Someday, I am sure I'll have it done.
