Question regarding the tires on my 2014 low rider.

I unmounted my tires tonight (mag wheels), starting with the rear and found a brown grease inside the center of the tire going all the way around in about a 3inch stripe. I removed it... Then found the same on my front tire, realizing it may have been factory added for balance and or seal a if a leak comes along.

I have searched and found nothing online about this, nor a harley product.


Does anybody have any ideas or information, must be something on the newer models.

Did you buy this used? I didn't know they put that in at factory?

 

Bike was purchased new, I've seen products out there such as the one above but never on a factory HD. Nor has anyone I've asked thus far.
