Here is a 2 1/2 lift on mine... I never relied on the gauge anyway

2" lift
My fuel gage is for looks my trip meter tell me when to fill, average mpg for music fxdb at 75/85 mph I get 150 miles per tank. The trip meters hits 120 fill up time.

Dumb question, this is just raising the front mount? Does make it look more chopped. "Chopperish".

Correct. That's what alters the gas gauge reading. Some may disagree on this but my personal experience is that I had reduced wind hitting my chest. Also, more airflow to the engine.
