Great job! How did you mount it? Was the hardware included?

Wow- That looks freaking awesome! I have been looking at these fairings for a while now, but wasn't sure about the quality or the fit until now. Your success with this has spurred me to try the same thing on my Iron.

Default Mounting hardware

The mounting hardware that it came with seemed almost random... I only used three of the bolts it came with and the mounting bracket. I went to the hardware depot and picked up a 3/8" Teflon bushing, a couple neoprene washers (to reduce vibration) a 6x1.0 metric bolt and a metal washer. Without it the fairing stuck out in front of the light at an odd angle and seemed to rattle a bit.
If you all are really interested I will do a proper write up on how to mount it in a sturdy fashion.

The back side of the fairing is painted as well but not layered with all the clear. Just a couple coats for protection. It won't be buffed or anything. Maybe I'll shoot up a couple more pictures later.

Yeah can you post a pic of the back side and show the mounting you used?

Yea dude, give us a walkthrough the process you used since I'll be doing the same thing here in a month or so. I was a little leery about that gap between the headlight and fairing when i was looking at the pictures on ebay, but I figured that it was a non issue since i couldn't see any gap in your photos. Always up for more information!

Looking good man! I put one of these on my old solid mounted sportster, the mounts just couldn't take the vibration on the highway and snapped off, I'm sure it'll be fine on a rubber mounted bike though.

I purchased the same Ebay fairing, but have yet to get around to mounting it. You've done an inspiring job! Looks fantastic!
