Put a set of saddle bags on it an call it good.
If you want a bagger,, buy one. Or get a Switchback,,

Always has to be one 'jerk'
It is his bike, let him do what he wants.
I'm sure the next time he decides to 'customize', he'll contact you for pointers on what you think he needs...........

Mike, Nice work of transforming your bike. It's coming along nicely.

On a different note: what are you doing with your brake pedal. I see you have added an elevated section on top of the factory pedal. Are you having problems pressing the brake or what?

No need to justify yourself man. One of the best things about Harleys is the amazing ability to transform that stock bike into one that is really yours. When your Dyna is done it will still weigh less than a bagger, and will still handle better. And best of all, you aren't going to see your clone coming down the road at you.

Nice work so far Mike, keep it up. People will talk **** here and there, don't pay them any attention. Looking forward to seeing what else you're doing.

Like you, I don't have a budget for a $23k+ bike, so I spent around $1600 to do my setup, bags, fairing and footboards and that includes powder and paint work.

As for touring with a Dyna Bagger, I can tell you it was nice being able to make my 7000 mile round trip ride to Sturgis last summer in comfort and still being able to hit the twisties out there with ease.

This bike setup is growing on here, a good number of us have been tinkering with the bagger setup, all with our own little twist.

Big Wheel "Bagger" is a current fad,
Everybody jump on the bandwagon, it's rolling through town
Hurry up, you'll miss it.

Well, you are a little behind the power curve with that info. Big wheeled baggers have been around for a few years now. Are you one of those guys that believe a bike should stay "as is", if so, that's cool, we won't bust your chops, after all it's your ride who are we to tell you its to "plan jane" or to "west coast" or to "murdered out" or maybe to much to your liking and not ours.

I can tell you that I made my mods for function and not because it looks cool.
