Default Fuse blows after shutdown

Seeking help from the electrical experts here.
2 Parts - I identified and fixed the 1st part. (Kind of). Still need help with 2nd part:

Bike = 2007 FXDB

Part One (1):
Odometer display was not working, no lit gauges on speedo; the only lit items were Neutral, and the oil lamp, nothing else. The horn worked, headlight worked, the front signal bulbs worked but the front directionals would not operate nor would the arrows light up. Bike would not start but the fuel pump was heard. No start. ----After research and great help from the search feature on these forums and playing around I identified an issue:
**FOUND A BLOWN 15A FUSE IN CADDY MARKED BATTERY FUSE.
**REPLACED 15A FUSE AND BINGO !!!!! ALL LIT UP, EVERYTHING WORKED AND THE BIKE STARTED ****

GOOD TO GO....... NOT: SEE PART 2

Part Two (2):
So, the bike operates. but, when i shut off the ignition (remove key), after approximately 7 seconds, the same fuse blows. its the 15a marked battery.
That brings me back to part one.
**So, if i replace the fuse, I'm good, but after shutting down the bike, 7 seconds later, POOF.**

QUESTIONS AND THOUGHTS:
No recent work that would affect this issue.
No loose wires or connections that I can find.
System Relay is Fine.
*The "7 seconds then pop issue" sounds so familiar and coincidental that its pointing me to the TSSM (like when the lights would flash after you shut down bike).* Hmmm? ?
I can't find out were the short is.
I can't understand why or how a 15a fuse could blow from a surge like the blinkers blinking.
(Even though the fuse is marked "battery", I have my doubts that it is labeled correct. Sounds more like "instrument" fuse.

So, I appeal to the geniuses of the forums.
Please help.

**Or else I have to drive with a pocket full of fuses

Thanks in Advance!!!!

Oh yeah check connector that pins are not touching, sounds like gauges are the issue.

You mentioned the TSSM. I assume that you have the security system then. Is the fuse blowing when the security is arming? I wonder if the TSSM could short. Or could you have a short in the directionals ... when they flash to indicate the security is armed. You might want to try the 4 way flashers to see if that can blow the fuse.

Default Fuse blows after shut down (update)

OK. Here is the update on this issue. Thank you to all who responded.

To answer some questions: The battery fuse blew when:
It happened while on side stand.
It happened whether bulbs were in or not.
Shaking harness didn't do anything.
Tapping my heels didn't do anything either.

I was able to pull a DTC - b1124 (right turn output short to ground).

So, I disconnected the lights connector under the seat (the one that goes through rear fender).

I tried to duplicate the problem and bingo, I couldn't.
The front sig worked fine.
*Therefore, problem was isolated to rear right turn signal wiring which is either short in wire or grounded inside the signal stem bolt (most likely).
Damn relocation wiring twisties ***

So, I'll just re-splice or rewire after I test continuity of that section.

Thanks again to all who had assisted!

Check that the harness didn't rub on the rear tire especially if the tire size has been changed or the rear suspension lowered.
