I wouldn't trade mine for any other jack on the market (including pit bull.) However, I wish they would do something about the pump lever that is connected with a spring. Much cheaper jacks have done this better. BTW, there is another change from the past (more than a couple years.) The pressure release used to require a handle that was stored off jack. Now, it is a wheel that is directly connected.

That was one the biggest selling point for me. I have been around various bikes on various lifts and honestly my mind was never at ease around none of them as far as the bike being stable. Mine is on the lift probably 60-70% of the time it is in the garage for days at a time and I feel it is as safe there as on the jiffy stand. Wiping down or polishing rims especially the rear used to be a chore, now its a piece of cake. Having it lifted up not only makes cleaning polishing easier but also make it easier to inspect the bike for loose bolts etc..

I just received and assembled the J&S jack and I reviewed all the videos from their web site. I stopped trying to lift my 2016 Dyna Low Rider, when I noticed under the front left side that the belt is below the frame. When I will lift the bike, the belt will get squashed up some. Is that something to worry about? Or is it no problem? See the above pictures.

I laughed at the first page. I think I have a Sears jack that was modified (one rail is skinnier) and I can say I would never trust it to go that high with the bike.
It weebles & wobbles & would probably fall down.

Can't agree more love my J&S! I picked it up as one first tools in the shed so to speak and so glad I did.

As far as how low it goes, I can slid it under my lowered 2014 fxdwg with no blocks needed to drive up on first. And as far as the cable run is concerned; As I start to lift the bike I just check the cable run to be sure it doesn't get pinched. From what I have seen there really isn't a way for it to be damaged, but I always check it to be sure

Again props to J&S!

I love my J&S Jack, i also purchased their wheel chock. It goes from the garage floor to the trailer in minutes and holds the bike upright without straps. I did use straps on the move from Chicago to Cali tho lol.

If it's a J&S after the first use you will be a happy man. Best Jack out there IMHO
