Adding discs increases exhaust flow, removing discs decreases flow. More discs will give you more sound and in most cases more upper RPM horsepower while reducing the number of discs will reduce the sound level and increase low end torque.

Sorry about no updates. I was away and also have a broken collarbone so can't ride yet. I'll be able to ride by June .

Update. Here is my bike transformed a bit with some new parts. I also downloaded a you Tube video of the sound. VERY novice video. Love it so far.

Ha...I know. All I did so far is a couple of loops around my office driveway ( my garage is at my office). Throttle response seems immediate and I think it sounds great.
