Default low rider rear shocks

06 Dyna Super Glide, everything stock....i want to put the low rear shock kiton to lower the bike a bit. Dealer says I shouldn't lower the rear with out lowering the front because it will adversely affect handling.I think means different forks in front which I don't want to go for. Anyone know if this is true? Is it such a big deal to change the rear shocks without changing anything else?

Here is the link to the kit

I lowered the rear on my 06 SG (progressive 418, 11,5 inch).
It made the handling BETTER. (more trail).

My sig pic (06 SuperGlide)has the HD lowering shock that you refer to,
and, the front is lowered simply by sliding the front forks up in the trees.

Better handling, in my opinion, when the rear was lowered.
Even better with both lowered.

I've changed it now to 2 and a half lower in the rear,
2 and a half longer forks in the front.
Still handles great, I test it real hard.

If you click the link in my sig you'll get a closer look.

I have a set of low rider shocks I purchased on eBay. I'd be willing to sell them for the $40.00 bucks I have in them if you would like a cheap way to try your bike lower in the rear. I had them on my 06 Super Glide.

Let me know.

Tom, it is a duplicate, but it ismore than three times as large.

Unless you have your computer set to automatically resize images to fit on your screensize.
