Question Exhaust for my FXR project

At the current moment I'm at a loss concerning which exhaust to run on my bike once it's at that point when I'm ready to get a exhaust system. The motor will have a S&S 89 stroker installed along with S&S pistons. Harley Screamin Eagle heads, Mikuni 42mm carb, and Andrews EV3 cam. I'm going with a 2 into 1 style exhaust. I've been hearing about bad customer service, bad build quality, etc. The only thing is I don't want my ears to bleed due to the pitch of the exhaust. I've looked at Hacker, D&D, Bassani, thunderheader, etc. Exhaust systems can get real expensive, real fast, so I only want to do this once...

Thunderheader-ran it with both a 80" and 96" (which made 112 hp).

I got lucky and scored a used BBC 2 into 1 system about 8 months back. Quiet at idle, moderate at cruise, and loud when hard accelerating. Due to it being a shorter system, it mounts extreme firm to just the engine and trans. Noticeable (seat of the pants) gain in torque as well, though never dyno'ed. I absolutely love it!

I am running the stock headpipes on my FXLR with Cycle Shack slip-on mufflers. It has a 93 in motor & makes 106hp 111tq. Looks like a real sleeper with that setup.

I'm running a Supertrapp in stainless and really like the sound. Plus it's tune able.

Jim.

That is one good looking bike! I am partial to black but that right there is definitely something I would ride. Reminds me of a bike from Mad Max.
