HHI triple trees -handle bar movement
I had a set of Hawg Halters 5 degree trees installed by a shop. I noticed now that when pushing the bike, there is some movement in the risers. I tried tightening more on the bottom bolts but still seems to have some up and down movement. Any thoughts? Should this be ok or do they need to be tightend some how? Could this happen because they are aftermarket and not a perfect fit?

It's the cheap rubber bushings letting the bars move about; the higher your bars are the more leverage you've got and the more you'll notice the movement. I'd change them out for poly bushings or solid bushings and that slop will be gone. Some people say they seem to notice a slight increase in bar/mirror vibrations with the polys and solids but the trade off for solidly mounted bars/risers is worth it...
You can see in this image from Hawg Halters the two holes in the upper clamp; that's where the bushings are...

+1 on the poly bushings. It's an inexpensive fix. I installed some when I went from buckhorns to 10" apes. Zero bar movement fore/aft. I will add that there is a little more vibration in the grips and mirrors but overall the vibration isn't intrusive or annoying and smoothes out as revs climb.

Where would I get these poly bushings?

You can pick up the poly HD bushings at the dealer, order them from a retailer like Revzilla, or pick them up on Amazon. I've even seen the poly bushings on eBay.
I prefer the chrome solid bushings; absolutely rock solid and I know I won't have to change them out over time
