I was honestly speaking with some degree of humor... Buy low, sell high...
But seriously, that sounds like the high side for a 2002, but not completely unrealistic. Just be careful when considering a bike with mileage that low (if it's accurate). Machinery doesn't really like not being used. Really low mileage on something that old often means that every piece of rubber and plastic needs to be replaced, as disuse often leads to dry rot. Things like tires, brake lines, master cylinder internals, wheel bearings, carb internals, various gaskets and seals... Use this as a point of negotiation. Motorcycles and cars like to be used at least 500 - 1,000 miles per year just to keep everything in good working order...
All of that said, it can be cool to have something with such low mileage if all of those things have been addressed!

I myself just sold a 2004 fxdx sport glide with 13500 miles on it for $6000. The guy who bought it brought with him a Harley mechanic who tried to pick it apart. He couldn't so they bought it.if I were you I'd start low. I'll bet he's not getting a lot of calls for that price and mileage.

You can't get a valid opinion here without pictures, and maintenance records. If maintenance was neglected or poorly done the bike might be worthless. If pristine might be worth $2-3 over KBB.
I bought exactly the bike I wanted in 2011. It was a 2003 with 2,090 miles. And that's not a typo. In 2014 it had 30k miles with a bottom gasket leak. I had that repaired at a dealer. Also had the SE Tensioner and oil pump upgrade, 2 new tires, rebuilt front calipers, new engine mount, grips, brake pads, bled brakes. That cost about $3,400. So the bike was worth a lot less before the work. This year I had the shiftshaft seal repaired, and a new clutch cable. That was $475. So repairs can get expensive on a neglected bike.
This is Black Book Powersports on a 2002 Super Glide :
Year: 2002
Make: Harley-Davidson
Model: FXD Dyna Super Glide
Model Type: Cruiser
Displacement: 1450
Cylinders: 2
Finance Advance: $4,245
MSRP: $11,895
Avg Retail: $5,465
Auction Wholesale $4,290
Clean Trade: $4,100
Fair Trade: $3,305
So $5,500 for a pristine bike is worth it. Neglected, maybe $3,300. Get pics and maintenance records, if you want opinions that aren't arbitrary .
