If you don't like it; don't buy it! No one is putting a gun to your head. I think harley finally figured out people like choices. If you want lots of chrome to polish in your driveway, get the standard low rider. If you like riding and want a bike with a big motor buy an S model. black parts are easly cleaned with a garden hose leaving more time to ride and less time on your knees. What's not to get?

it's an option for those of us who don't need chrome all over everything. Plus you get the 110 from the factory. had the Low Rider S been out last fall, I probably would have bought one instead.

Give a **** what anybody thinks of my bikes. I buy what I like, not because I saw it on some crummy TV show. I love my 14 UC and my LRS; different bikes for different riding situations. You ride yours and I'll ride mine; we'll both be happy.

There are people out there that just don't like a lot of chrome and shiny **** on their bikes or cars and it has nothing to do with some TV show. I've never been a fan of chrome, 10 years ago or now. Everyone has their own personal taste. That being said, while I do like the LRS and some of the options it features, I wouldn't trade my '14 SB for it.

Well stated. I have a standard 2015 LR and will likely get an S next year.

What a post!
