Vintage look shock top covers
Anyone tried the HD style shock top covers on Fat Bob shocks? Do they fit or wrong diameter? If anyone has a pair kicking around, could you measure the inside diameter? I like the look of the original Duo-Glides; the FXDF lends itself to that well, I think...

I can not verify for your year bike, but I bought a pair cheap from J&P to install on my Dyna. She is equipped with Progressive full cover shocks. The back side is notched to fit over the top shock mount, as they are for a Shovel they did not fit right away and I had to create additional clearance with some metal shears. Not pretty but once installed you can not see the cuts. They have been on the bike for about 5 years now, never rattled off or anything else like that and I am happy with the look.

This is what is on the bike, you can see they offer full cover as an option:

I also have the Progressive drop in's in the front to make her 2 under and sit level, I strongly believe that being level helps the ride and handling. And the progressive front end components, lowered or not, are an improvement over stock.
