Default Footboards on Street Bob

So I'm ditching the mid controls and moving to forward controls. I'm looking into doing the foot boards, so I'm wondering if anyone has done this that has the V&H Big Radius exhaust on? I don't want to get the kit and then find out that I can't do it because of the exhaust. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

If you are worried about space, check out the mini-floorboards from San Diego Customs. I just put them on my Street Bob and they are super comfy!

I've had forward controls and floorboards on my 2006 Dyna with V&H big shot pipes. Not sure if the dimensions are similar. Maybe call V&H, or some of the bigger mail order houses (like Dennis Kirk) have really good technical support centers who can usually give you fitment information.

Unrelated to your pipe question - when I put rider floorboards on my Dyna, it shifted my seating position some and my seat was no longer comfortable.

Bro-in-law just bought floorboards for his 09 Street Bob with the V&H Big Radius 2-1 and he says they don't fit...I will be at his place in a few weeks to see why not for myself.

This has come up a few times, especially when the footboard kit came out. Don't remember the exact "why", but neither of the Big Radius pipes will fit with the 'boards.

I have seen floorboards on a Street Bob at my local harley dealer and I personally was not a big fan of the look. This used bike did have V&H pipes installed as well.

On my Street Bob, I went with forward controls and installed the large mini-floorboards that HD sells. Extremely comfortable and I think fits the look a little better.

Thanks for the help guys, looks like I'll be sticking with the standard forward controls

I'll look into those mini floorboards as well.
