You could run a USB (or other type) power connector up from the battery nice and neatly along the frame backbone, to give you power up at the bars in case you ever want to mount a phone or other accessory there.

No problem! They make a fine product. Gasoline isn't listed in their their normal applications and I didn't look up acetal compatibility, but it must be OK if Motion Pro is selling them as such.

Probably cheaper yet from some place like MSC, Grainger, or McMaster-Carr. I didn't check.

 

Those cast style breathers have been updated to a stamped sheet metal style. If you go that route, MAKE SURE you get the correct bolts to go with them. The correct bolts are shorter, using your original bolts with the new breathers can crack your heads.

Also be sure to blow out any oil from any bolt holes. The oil in those holes will have nowhere to go when the bolt is tightened and again.... head damage.
