Default Performance Slip-Ons for 2011 FXDC

What would guys recomend as the best slip-ons for a 2011 FXDC looking for performance and NOT OVER THE TOP noise? I'm looking at options for slip-ons because a full exhaust system will be too expensive for me now... BTW keep in mind that In my shop I have a tuning program and I will squeeze all I can of the mods I do!

Best bang for the buck in the world of slip-ons are Cycle Shacks. Prices vary so shop around but you should be able to pick up a pair for under $150. They are also very easy to tune.

They have good back pressure and decent reversion properties. For example, compare to the always popular V&H Short Shots, which are more difficult to tune, mostly due to length and pretty wide open baffles.
The first slipons I had were V&H. My TMax tuner took a long time to set mapping points with the auto tune module. I got together with a very good TMax tuning guy and he suggested getting the CS. Besides me liking the sound better, it developed the mapping over a lot less miles. That was proof enough for me.
BTW, CS used to the make the old SEII's which are still known to sound and run great.

Ok great to know, but I can go add a more to the cost if it upgrades the performance, just don't want to pay $500 and up for a full system if at the end of the day it wont be double the performance! If its double the performance a full system vs slip-ons then its ok.

There's no exhaust system at any price that will double the performance.
A good 2-1 will give you a few more horses, depending on how it's modded and tuned.

Just to be clear I didn't ment double the performance of the power of the motorcycle, I ment that if a full system would double the performance increment from a slip-on.
