I built and assembled most of this on a pvc stand I built so I wasn't without my bike ... Bike was only down for 16 days total here is some of what/ how I did it

Exhaust installed

Here is the plate I made to attach cowbells to triple tree. I extended it out to fill gap between trees and skirt for a cleaner look . I did have to grind a notch in bottom of trees for cowbell bolt to sit into

Rough mock up

This is how it looks with skirt

Drilled and tapped

Painted and ready to install

Wiring guages

How I actually tested the guages lol

Rough mock up on stand

Biketronics kit installed

Wheel complete

Guages back from Zee's

Front end swapped out and lowered , cowbells installed

First test fit of fairing .. To attach fairing I picked up a used 2016 triple tree on eBay and cut the 4 clamps off of it flipped sides and installed upside down to get mounting points where I needed them .. Notched top triple clamp 1/4 inch so mounting piece would set at right height from top of tree

Old guage removed hole was filled with touring fuel door cover . I made a plate that covered bottom of hole .. Attached with two screws and push button to basically sandwich it on ... See below

Repurposed emblem from gas tank leather to cover ignition hole

Also the clutch cable was ran through the front of fairing like older models ... An interesting side note .. I think they were originally designed to do that ... In the accessorys catalog , if you look at 3 pocket fairing pouch it has a pic of early prototype .. Also there is a hole in mounting brackets for cable to run through

Here is the pic straight from HD website for 3 pocket fairing pouch ... Notice clutch cable

Here is a shot from inside my fairing ... I used a rubber grommet from a tractor trailer air line inside of bracket hole ... Perfect fit

Dealers are greedy, even though the new line up should be out soon, so go figure.

I like those wheels, you said that are new from HD? I'd love a set for my Dyna...well done!

I just assumed you started with a switchback then read on.

Job well done, there is no way to tell that started as an FXDC. LOve the front end mock up stand.

Would love to know the weight difference between this and a street glide.

I say keep it. Thanks for sharing!

I bought them new from Harley it isn't a " new line" it is the front wheel off of a freewheeler trike ... Still an enforcer bit rotor s mount different ... Rear would not work on your bike

I would say not much difference in weight at all ... Maybe 50-75 lbs tops ... I can really tell it adds a lot of weight but on the other hand, it seems way more planted on the road and smoother riding
