Dyna fork tubes with touring lowers? I thought they were different diameters(?)

Up until 2014 , the touring models had 41 mm and Dyna had 49 .. the 14+ Rushmore models have 49 mm tubes . They slide right on like they are made for it

I'd like to do something similar using a Road Glide fairing. Were there existing holes in tree to attach plate, or did you drill and tap it?

I used the one headlight hole , the others were drilled and tapped

If you don't mind me asking, what's the total you have into all your mods so far? I know you said a trade-in would ultimately cost you 16-18K before you did the new bags. BTW I think a chrome Switchblade rear wheel from a Low Rider would match pretty well with the front.

I just answered that a few post back ... about $8000
BUT.. I have recouped about $1500 selling take off parts and still have probably another couple grand worth of stuff to sell . If I can get it all sold the total cost isn't so bad
