At the MOST, I would take a look at the inside of the belt to see if a piece of grave got behind the guard.

It sounds like you are a lot more picky about your bike than your ol' lady is. And pickier than me for that matter. It might be time to get a second bike.

I'll share my ride with Liane. She's not my wife but she runs a Daytona 955i on the salt and holds some lap time records at a local track. She can borrow my bike anytime.

So how long are you gonna keep yourself in suspense? Actually, the longer you wait the better the odds are that if there is anything wrong it will fix itself in the meantime.
I would've been checking out the bike within seconds, not posting it up here.
