Front End Swap

Front End Swap
Hi Guys,
So I'm trying to switch the wide glide front end on my 84 FXRT from a 35 mm to a 39MM. Any advice on what to expect when taking on this project ?
How hard is it to remove the triple trees? Do I need any special tools ?
I'm also looking to change the bearings in the front whee? - Any special tools for that or can I get it done without a bearing puller ?
Thanks,
Vlad

Well you will need sockets (a large on for the stem nut) and a torque wrench. As far as changing the wheel bearings..... If timken a you should replace the races in the wheel when doing the bearings. Then you will need to set the end play of the bearings requiring at the least a vice and a dial indicator
