Default Apes!

I am getting ready to get some 16" ape hangers for a 2001 Dyna Wide Glide. I am leaning towards the Wild1 bars and cable kit from Hill Country Customs. Anybody have any experience with that setup?? Any issues? Or anyone with pics of that setup would be great to see.

Yes, on my Road King and both these companies rock!!! The Wild 1s are some of the best quality apes I've ever installed and I've done a few. HCC has the best aftermarket cabling I've used as well. They are my go to cable if I need a replacement. Stay away from Magnum, the absolute worse I've installed. They start out shinny and sweet then just don't cut it in short order. Barnett are junk also, flimsy and thin.
These are them on my RK, sorry it's as close as I've got pics:

Anyone running anything taller than 15" apes in Texas?? I was looking up the state law, and what I found said that the limit is 15" above seat height. That just doesnt sound right. Plus Ive seen tons of tall apes on the roads..... anyone speak to this?

Maryland has that same stupid law, my stock Street Bob bars are more than 15" above the seat.
