Default Quick Detach saddlebag mounts?

I have the HD leather saddle bags part number 90369-06A. Does Harley sell a quick release bracket system or anything that will allow me quickly remove/install the bags onto my 2006 Dyna Street Bob? there was another post asking a similar thing, I would like to have them on when going back n' forth to work but around town and cruising I want them off for a clean look. any help is much appreciated. thanks in advance.

I think I have the same bags on my '06 wideglide and want to do the same thing. The dealer said there was a quick release hardware in the drag specialties catalog. I saw it in there but not for my model and year. I also have the detachable backrest which will complicate things since there is specail hardware on the bike for the side plates.

Look at "Easy Brackets". I will be getting some for my 2006 Super Glide soon.

the easy brackets are great. on the '06 wide glide you don't have to relocate the turn signals. i have them on mine and am pleased with them. you can buy them from J&P or directly from Easy Brackets.

I just put the Easy Brackets on mine (04 WG) and am very pleased with them. I had to take the metal plate off of the back of the bags and drill a couple of different holes in the Easy Bracket plate to be happy with the mounting though.

I have asked before on other threads... could someone please put up a pic from the rear? I have the detach sissy bar and want to see how much more the detach bag hardware will push the bags out.

I found another bracket like the easy bracket but it's called the ghost bracket. here is the link. http://www.motoleather.com/hadyghbr.html

I did not realize that all of these brackets were so expensive, I may have to go used on this one!!!

From what I'veheard Easy brackets and Ghost brackets work well. Kinda expensive having to buy the bags then the brackets so they come off easy. Don't forget the turn signal relocation. [:@]

For those who haven't bought saddlebags, another option is Boss Bags or Leather Pros. They already have the brackets made as part of the bag.
I have the Boss Bags with a detachable sissy bar (not shown in the attached photo) and like them. Two years, many a rain stormsand they still look new. Got them from Iron Horse Trading Co..
