Default Rainproof performance air filter

What air filter do you guys use performance orientated that you can ride no problem in the rain?

When it rains I never stop and with my older bike I had no problem with the air filter but Im looking at options for an air filter kit that includes the back plate too and most of the ones I find have the filter element exposed. To never have to worry about habían troubles I want to get one that o has an outside cocer to keep the element away from rain.

So what do you guys use that works with this in mind?

Dont like the idea of having to stop to put it on or use it on all my trips... rather have a cover that keeps the rain out.

Check out DK Custom; I'm running their 587 with a smooth chrome bobber cover and I've charged through some monsoon rain with no issues. The cover protects the A/C's K&N filter from all the moisture.

The DK offerings are a turn key package; backplate, filter, cover, and breather setup of your choice and the 587 is going to provide more air than your engine can use until you hit literally the stratosphere of engine builds

It sounds like a pain, but it is really not that bad. I have a little bar bag behind my fairing that keep my registration, insurance and the rain sock in.

In my neck of the woods, rain is a reality. I stop and put it on. No big

That's why I went with the HD aftermarket intake with bobber cover. Performance without putting nylon socks on my bike. I'm with u. I hate the look with a woman's nylon sock on the intake.
