Yeah... Im not sure which response is directed to who. So im out. Sigh.

But just to reply to anyone who was asking me... The ACR's are enabled in the tune. While troubleshooting earlier i retarded the starting areas -5 deg. Bike is about 4 months old. Battery was replaced and no help.

Now I'll let Max have the thread back.

Mchad, I watched your video and noticed that you start your bike a bit different than I do. I know my bike is older and we have different motor sizes (mine is a 2009 with a 96ci), but this is the method I use when starting the bike (I believe this is the same as Maxxsmart described in an earlier post).

Turn on ignition - wait for light to go out
Turn on run switch - wait for light to go out
Engage starter switch

If you have not tried this method, it might be worth a shot. Hope this helps you my friend.

Appreciate it. I don't have an ignition switch on mine. The bike is turned on by flipping the run/stop to run, then pressing the starter. I have not heard of waiting for the engine light to go out, i always thought it was lit if the ignition was on but not running. I will definitely wait for it to go out when I start. Thanks brother.

So there's no ignition switch on your bike? What's your start procedure?

My 103ho only sounds like that when the battery is getting old...showing good on the meter when it's charged but a day after it does what yours is doing... I ordered a new battery I just haven't put it in yet. Waiting for amp wiring harness to show up first. I gave no ACR on mine.

All bikes since the 40's have an ignition switch, it's where the key thingy goes. LMAO

And since 2010 (I think), the CVO motor based bikes don't. This bike comes stock with the security key fob, which has to be in proximity to start the bike. TRUST ME when I tell you the LR-S has no ignition switch, or key for ignition. The bike it started by having the keyfob on you, flipping run/stop to run - which when switched to run, turns the electrical system on the same as you turning your ignition switch to "on" and then pressing start to activate the starter.

The only think the physical key is used for is the steering lock.

When your done laughing, Ask around if you think I'm wrong.

Just busting, evidently you have no sense of humor in the morning.
