Has anyone here ever mounted a GPS in the bullet fairing of the 16 LRS? I know it would be an easy velcro job, but I was thinking it could be done really nicely flush mounted and secure.

 

Get a bar mount. Trust me. I did the Vecro deal with my PowerVision, and I nearly lost it twice doing north of 80 MPH. It comes with the indutrial Velcro, but it is still not reliable.

My Zummo 660 came with a Ram mount that is very secure and is hard wired to the battery. Do you already have a GPS? If you have a waterproof cell phone you can just get a ram mount with tether and be very se ure with extreme adjustability. I have both shown.

 

ram mount makes a lot of options. this is what I use to mount a TomTom, not the best pic though.

+1 on the bar mount from RAM. I use them for my cell phone and Power Vision.
