I sent you a PM asking what this means! Take it to indy for repair??? Then say be [prepared] to pay for repairs going forward! Please.. Need to know info right away so I can bring up there depending what you mean? Thanks
P.S. Its a cylinder gasket at base of cylinder mounts to the block or gear box!

Dude. He isn't talking about Indianapolis.

Witty retort to my post, BTW.

Best of luck to you.

Ah, retail...the realm where the customer is always right and I've always got a migraine...I miss it!

Indy=independent Harley repair shop. Like taking your car to a mechanic and not the Toyota dealer.

"Be prepared" means no warranty=anything and everything that may go wrong with the motor comes out of your pocket. Things like the cylinder o-ring, which I think you are talking about? See item #1 below. That's the only seal at the base of the jug.

Is that what you mean?

Or do you mean the gasket between the motor and the primary? - #12 below.

I really can't believe you spent all this money on a bike and then had the motor upgraded to a race motor and you are this ignorant of basic facts about the bike...the warranty and simple terms used in the motorcycle world....please o us all a favor and read the forums some more and educate yourself...you will be happier......

PS..are you really that cheap that you won't allow the dealer to change the oil after they had the motor opened up??

I can't believe all this discussion on who, what, where and why & OP could've settled a few by posting a pic of the problem spot. Would've trimmed this thread to 2-pages vs. 5 & going....>.<

OP, if you're so proud of owning the 120 motor w/o warranty and too cheap to pay someone to fix, why not buy the service manual/tools/parts & fix it yourself? It'll get you familiar w/self maintaining the bike and self-satisfaction in knowing you can repair the bike in future ownership years.
