Default Wife Glide won't start

Got a 2012 Wide Glide with about 8500 miles. When you hit the start switch you get a clicking from the starter solenoid but then the starter just stops. Battery is brand new and fully charged. I rebuilt the starter solenoid and new plunger. No change. If I attach the jump box that will get it just enough juice to kick over and start. But barely. Is the mechanical side of the starter crapped out or what? If you bench test the starter it operates fine but that isn't under a load.
Thanks
Tony

electrical connections.., battery..., starter

Those are the potential culprits - troubleshoot / isolate / identify

btw - hooking a jump box up does not rule out the bttry - even though the bttry is new - could be a bad one (memory built up / weak cell(s))

Yeah, my wife glide hasn't started in quite a while, either.

Try flowers. If that doesn't work, try jewelry, but only as a last ditch effort!

Thanks for the quick response. Took the battery in already and had it tested. It's fine. Already checked all the grounds and cleaned the posts. Nothing horrible, just some oxidation. I'm going to try jumping the starter directly, bypassing the switch entirely. At least I got the street glide backup to get some riding in today and tomorrow.

The switch is just a low-draw trigger for the relay. I would suspect the relay before the switch, but crazy happens.
