Removing shift lever off shifter shaft?
Dumb question but, I need to move my shifter lever down a couple splines, can anyone tell me how to remove it off the shifter shaft going into the primary cover? Its on there pretty tight and since its going thru the primary I dont want to start yanking on it and can use a pointer....thanks.

That's actually the truth TUCCI, the shaft is hollowed out to accept the body of the bolt,, it's not just a pinch fit the bolt has to come out.

Like. Fully remove pbolt and spray a little pb blaster or wd40 on it the splines. Gently wiggle it off. Clean off oil. The pbolt holds it in place.

Sometimes it helps to tap the tip of a screwdriver into the groove to spread it a little too.
