Default Bassani's RR question

So I have a set of the Road Rage short on my 2011 Dyna and want to make my bike louder. I already removed the packing around the baffle and it still isn't very loud. So, should I cut the baffle? Has anyone done this? What are the pros/cons? Or should I just sell them and go with something else? I can't afford to throw away money.

I have a Road Rage on my Dyna also. Removing the baffle entirely will be the only way to get the most noise out of the pipe. However, anything done to the baffle likely will lower the back-pressure supplied to your engine resulting in power loss at low RPMS. I think the pipe sounds absolutely awesome as is. It is plenty loud for my ears and I'm sure also for my neighbors.

Haha! I hear ya. Loss of power is not what I'm after. Just thinking of ways to get more sound without breaking the bank. Removing the baffle completely is not something I'm willing to do either. I am under the assumption that going with a Thunderheader will give me a louder sound. However, I keep hearing that their brackets break. Anyone have a ruling on this? And are Thunderheaders louder than Bassani's?
