Default Jiffy stand bumper question...

I can't find the right place to put my kick stand bumper I can see a rust spot where it is hitting the frame but the bumper won't go there as it is blocked by a welded brace, so, the kick stand bangs on the frame every time I retract it.

Anyone else have the problem?

The bumper goes foreword of that spot. The bumper doesn't hit the end of the stand,, it kinda fits just in front of that. The toughest part is getting the pad at the right angle to the stand body,, it's easiest with two people,, one to hold the bike upright and another on his back putting the bumper in place.

The rubber bumper on my '07 Ultra fits in a hole on the kick-stand itself.
I had to replace mine.

Just like the bikes that are sitting on the dealers floor.

It does on my '08 Ultra as well but not on the Dyna.

mine had been missing the stop... tried adjusting the stop with the same results, had my son sit on the bike and looked under and found the cotter pin for holding the kickstand broke, and the pin holding the kickstand to the frame was working its way out... once got the pin in place and installed a new washer and cotter pin it hit the stop..
