Each bike has its pros/cons I'd say. That being said I've never had the pleasure of trying out a DX, so I'm slightly biased when I say DL. Assuming we are talking about the more recent (2014 and newer) DL, it's hard to compare two bikes with a 10+ year age gap. Not to mention the aftermarket support is insane right now, so it's not too difficult to make the DL a great handling bike, and it was probably the one bike that Harley has on offer right now that is headed in the direction that I want to go as far as personalization...
Of course, like I said, I'm slightly biased...

I can't comment on modern Low Riders but Low Riders from the FXDX, FXD & FXDT era have a slacker head tube angle than the above models. 32 degrees vs 28 if I remember right. The Low Rider and Wide glide both had different head tube angles.

Both with polished rotors (6 of 'em!) and stainless steel shift linkages.
The '16 has a Nightstick slip-on.
Neither one is tuned. We like a fuel range we get.

What up dude? When we riding?? I agree with you, I love my DX and I loved my DXT. Ive ridden both and they're very different animals. They both handle well in their own way. Which is better? depends if you like EFI or a carb? Anything can be done to anything. I have a buddy with a 103 bob and my DX blows it out of the water in straight line and corners, but he can do much further on a tank of gas and it ride a little nicer due to the 49mm front end. different strokes.
Always down for a ride, not sure if you're on FB but there or IG just hit me up!
