Here in Scotland there's a lot of rain and mucky riding conditions, because of this I don't like an open filter. I've always liked the classic teardrop aircleaner from S&S so I thought I'd fit one on to my FXDLS. I can report that the install was simple enough however you need to get the throttle body support bracket when fitting this filter kit on to the FXDLS. The oem heavy breather has the support built into it. Took the bike for a run after fitting and I think the bike is smoother with even better throttle response, I didn't touch the tune (FP3). I also think it looks awesome on the bike and exposes more of the engine.

Sure the S&S Part number is 170-0312A. Fits ride by wire bikes plus if it's going on a lowrider S you'll need the throttle body support bracket which you can get from your H-D dealer for cheap. It's a standard part on rbw bikes just not the lowrider s.

Thanks nomad has to be said the low rider s is by a mile the best looking bike harley produce at the moment, hope you have better luck with it than you did with the fat boy. Edinburgh HD are a good and Rob is brand new in the parts.

I'm showing the 17-0450 covering the 2008-2016 Dyna's. Found it on Amazon for $200. I'm putting it on my consider list after I catch up on my current mod's.
Glad you found which one fits your bike. The part number I gave is for ride by wire bikes, like the new touring bikes, new softails and of course the low rider s, basically the bikes with cruise control.
